Psalm 63:1-3 (NIV)
“O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”
Jeremiah 29:13 (ESV)
“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”
James 4:8 (NLT)
“Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”
Psalm 42:1-2 (NIV)
“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?”
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Father in Heaven, I came to you now, humbly requesting your presence in my life. Help me to run to you when the going gets tough. Help me to remember that you know and love me despite all of my flaws.
Shine your light on me and give me hope in the middle of my pain. There is no one who can console me as well as you. Thank you, God, for whatever anguish I experience on this planet is only temporary. Help me to see you in all things, both difficult and joyful. Allow me to experience your presence and tranquility in all I do.
Father, please remind me that I am never alone. You are always with me, no matter what happens. Thank You for the gift of life, as well as Your ongoing protection and guidance.
Do not be concerned about anything, but make your requests to God in every situation via prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 4:6-7)
I devote all credit, honor, and glory to you, Father. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
